Mayora shows its commitment as a part of society through contribution of welfare to stakeholders, starting from employee to our consumers, and from surrounding environment to global community.
Research indicated that 7 out of 10 Indonesian children have breakfast that lack nutrition*. Energen along side with Indonesian Food and Nutrition Society (PERGIZI Pangan) has made a commitment to raise awareness of the importance of breakfast to start the day. Healthy breakfast with Energen is our program to educate people that breakfast is the most important meal of the day that can support the ability to think, work, and optimal physical activity and prevent nutritional deficiency or excess.
Environmental Sustainability
We aim to both ensure a long-term ability to source the high quality raw material for our customers and positively impact the livelihoods of the farmers and their communities.
We learned from the farmers about some of the threats that they face as coffee farmers. The sensitive coffee plants are especially vulnerable to pests and parasites, severe weather and climate change. Also the traditional farming methods resulted in inconsistent harvest. Declining yields, and volatile prices also affected the stability of the farmers income.
We are here to help farmers and their communities by offering technical assistance & training in coffee planting as well as better access to information about the markets.
