PVB, Talisay-Batangas Enters into P140M Loan Agreement


Furthering in its objective to help in countryside development, Philippine Veterans Bank (PVB) has recently entered into a partnership with the Municipal Government of Talisay, Batangas whereby the bank will be providing the municipality with a Php 140 million loan facility.

Under the agreement signed by both parties, PVB will be lending the said amountto the Municipality of Talisay which will be used to finance the design and construction of the planned Talisay Government Center. Part of the 10-year loan will also be used to purchase the lot where the center will be developed.

PVB Sponsors WWII Conference at UP-Diliman


Furthering in its commitment to educate today's generations on the lessons of World War II in the Philippines, Philippine Veterans Bank recently sponsored the three day international conference entitled Occupation & Liberation which featured discussions on different aspects of the last world war and its effects on the countries involved including the Philippines.

Featuring a plethora of speakers and resource persons, the conference was held at the GT Toyota Asian Cultural Center - Asian Center in the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City and was attended by students, educators, and historians from across the Philippines and Asia.

The conference also featured PVB's War of Our Fathers Traveling Exhibit which depicted World War II scenes in the Philippines.
